Pain Points / Needs
01
People are not interested in learning about job scam content and relevent information
We found out three things that users struggled with. A survey of job seekers aged 25-33 reveals a strong need to increase interest in learning about job scams, encourage sharing of experiences, recognize scam red flags, and reduce vulnerability.
02
People are not sure where to report job scams and less willing to share their job scam experiences with the public
03
People are overconfident about recognizing job scam red flags and their ability to handle job scams
Problem Statement
Job scams severely impact vulnerable job seekers aged 25-34, causing financial loss, emotional distress, and wasted time. We need a platform to detect scams, enhance awareness, reduce overconfidence, and improve reporting. It should offer clear reporting guidance, foster community support, and make scam education engaging to protect users during their job search.
